Arianna Kong's March Interim Report
Throughout this year I've learned a lot about myself when it comes to learning new things in class or my fitness. In this year I've learned that I've improved with my fitness levels highly. For example when it comes to the beep test or the pond run. When it came to those improvements it was because of my friends and family support, my healthy eating, my motivation and learning to pace myself. There so many other things that helped me improve my fitness level and my activeness too. My healthy eating has improved, which help me stay healthy and fit throughout the fitness days. My motivation increased as well, so when I feel like giving up I always motivate myself to keep going and do it to the best of my ability. My friends also motivate me to do my best and keep going and I do the same for them. I support my friends and peers when they are about to give up on what they are doing and tell them that they can do it. I'll always be supportive and understanding with them when things are getting really tough. My family supports me with the decisions I make and tell me what I should try out for, whether it would be the basketball team, kickboxing/karate, badminton or the hip hop team. They are always behind me one hundred percent and I with them and my friends. When I have P.E I'm always early to class by going after I eat my lunch and getting changed into my gym strip. I'm never late unless I'm away or at an appointment. I also come prepared and ready to go. I'm getting stronger and faster in P.E with fitness days, and I'm always up for any challenge even thought I complain about it. As I have said in many blogs I love hard challenges because it motivates me and my body even more to achieve and learn things about my brain and body. As we all know the mind is as important as our body, just like the saying, mind over matter. Whenever it's fitness and I see that we have a hard challenge I just go for it but I've learned to pace myself so that I don't tire out. Also when I work hard in fitness I feel sick in the stomach on certain fitness challenges, for example the loco loco motion. It kills my stomach but I just keep motivating myself and always think that I'm letting people down by giving up and it's not fair to some. Even though I'm supposed to tell a teacher I have my friends/peers, and myself to motivate me through those kinds of times. Throughout this course I would like to see some new activities when it comes to non-fitness days because I feel like we do choice a lot instead to our own class or our class mixed with another class type of activities. In my opinion I feel like choice is getting a bit old and boring but if there were new activities then it can be fun. Lastly I would like to share my personal goals with you. My first goal is to keep getting more exercise and doing more outside sports, my next goal is to expand my healthy food choices and try new foods, my third goal is to keep being a good influenced leader from my friends and peers and my last goal (even though I have so much more, although I can't put it on here otherwise it would be way to long) is too just have fun and try new things whether it would be in school or not. All in all I would want a G as my grade because I feel like I have improved a lot and I feel like I deserved it.
